As part of its public service initiaitves Certichron is proud to host the US Time Server Foundation , a not-for-profit entity who's sole charter is to provide the free access to regionally located NIST-calibrated Stratum-1 Servers.
Digital Evidence is now a part of our daily lives!
As more and more of our daily lives becomes paperless in nature, the time of those events becomes a key component of an evidence practice. The exclusive use of the offiicial US timebase is necessary to comply with US and Internatonal Legal Metrological Agreement's. Further, in today's world we need to use thise same source of time for all of our devices so that the evidence model is seamless across the full-circle of our operations.Supporting the Operations of the USTiming.ORG
To help support the US Time Server Foundation we welcome your becoming a formal member. Supporting and commercial memberships are available at the following levels: These systems are deployed to form regional ensembles which are calibrated by NIST through the operation of the local NIST Servers, to be traceable to the US National Standard kept at NIST's Boulder Colorado Laboratory. Monthly reports showing drift,skew and jitter in the time-standards are made available through Certichron and allow the creation of Court admissible and qualified evidence models for all uses.Foundation Users and other Interested Parties are encouraged to register with the Certichron MANTIS site to get notices of changes or planned downtime and to allow you to register requests or service outage compliants.
National Security and Public Interests
The US Time Server Foundation works with the general public and the Industry-partner's to address American Readiness requirements specified under
HSPD-7
and it's associated Executive Orders and Administrative Policies. The foundation
provides the key resource for building a uniform 'National Evidence' model, the
same reliable time-source... everywhere.
This effort is seen as a key step in protecting and strengthening the Official US National Critical Infrastructure.
Protocols Supported
Mechanically the services of the
US Time Server Foundation provide unlogged, anonymous public access time
services over the NTP, Daytime, and Time Protocols.
This resource is a key component of the US National Critical Infrastructure and as such services everyday use as well as First Responder's and Government User's
